I’m Jeff — founder of Open Road Rentals here in Colorado Springs. I built this company for one simple reason: I’ve spent years exploring Colorado on two wheels, and I wanted to make it easy for anyone to experience the same feeling of freedom without needing to own a bike, maintain it, or figure out where to ride.

I’m a lifelong entrepreneur with a background in real estate, operations, and building small businesses from the ground up. Open Road Rentals is built to be simple, transparent, and adventure-ready, whether you're renting a 50cc scooter to explore Old Colorado City, Garden of the Gods and Manitou Springs… or gearing up for a multi-day ride into the Rocky Mountains on a full-size adventure motorcycle.

Our Moped/Scooter Fleet is primarily Genuine Roughhouse scooters (made in Chicago). The Roughhouse handles our hills, rough pavement, and variable terrain better than anything in its class. It’s tough, reliable and easy to ride.

Every bike in our Adventure Motorcycle Fleet is handpicked for reliability, ease of use, and the kind of riding people actually want to do around Colorado Springs. Whether you're looking to cruise Colorado’s paved scenic roads or tackle sections of the BDR for a few days, we’ve got you covered.

We're not a giant corporate rental counter. You're dealing directly with the owner, in a shop where the bikes are maintained in-house, inspected constantly, and prepped like I’m the one riding them next. If you need route ideas, gear tips, or real local insight, you’ll get it straight from someone who actually rides these roads and trails.
